An Ohio judge sentenced 20-year-old Bryanna Barozzini to three years in prison with the possibility of early release in the fatal stabbing of 17-year-old Halia Culbertson. Family and friends of Culbertson emotionally spoke about the teen during the Thursday sentencing. “I will be living with this guilt the rest of my life,” the convicted woman said before she was sentenced.

On March 26, 2023, Bryanna Barozzini admitted to swinging a knife at Halia Culbertson during an argument outside a smoke shop in Columbus, Ohio. Culbertson was taken to a local hospital but later died. Barozzini pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter. She was originally charged with murder.
