Here's the next Three-For-All lesson with 3 Steve Morse Licks From 1996.
Steve Morse is a masterful guitarist and one of my absolute favorite musicians. From his work with the groundbreaking Dixie Dregs and Steve Morse Band to his stint playing with Kansas and touring the world several times over with Deep Purple - Morse is a complete legend and his unique music and playing style has always been infectious and inspiring.
This lesson tackles a few ideas from a live solo he performed with live with Deep Purple back in 1996. These licks could be considered some of Steve's signature licks and moves - from string-skipping chromatic runs to lightning-fast scale phrasing. As you'll see, this lesson contains some challenging and eye-opening ideas from a masterful guitarist.
