The goal of Lesson 1 is to enter 13 data points into a number list (L!), then copy (L1) to (L2), then sort L2 in ascending order from smaller to taller. Pointers and some common errors are made and corrected.. The goal of the next lessons 2, & 3 is to find the mean, median, mode, population and sample standard deviation, and then find the 5 number summary. Once Q2, the median is found, the Percentile Rank of Q2 is calculated, and the Z Score of Q2 is determined. In Lesson 3 a 5 bar frequency table in made, followed by graphing a histogram and a box-n-whisker plot.. The two graphs are compared to discuss and discover what conclusions can be made about the data set, and the ways it is graphed. Which grap makes the best representation the intention of the graph creator.
