Former Afghan President Hamid Karzai condemned the US military's use of its largest non-nuclear bomb in Afghanistan.
The US military on Thursday dropped of a Massive Ordnance Air Blast, also known as an MOAB or the "Mother Of All Bombs".
It was released from a US military aircraft over Nangarhar province on a suspected stronghold of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant's (ISIL) branch in Afghanistan.
Afghanistan's Defence ministry says it wiped out ISIL tunnels, killed as many as 36 ISIL fighters, and did not cause any civilians deaths.
