Since Oreck is not publishing my honest review, I am sharing my experience with this dishonorable company here. I ordered two Oreck XL Professional Air Purifiers. The unit in this video is one day old. There is dust on the outside screen , the inside filter is brand shiny new. Oreck claims this filter is silent, it is more like a fire hazard, and constant bug zapper going off in the room. I cannot sleep with this thing on. I called to initiate a return two days after receiving these units only to find that my personal information had been shared with an outsourced call center. The call center has my personal information including email, billing, shipping and credit card information. The call center lied to me, gave me the runaround, and put me in transfer purgatory. They told me three times that the return instructions would be emailed, and the instructions have never arrived. I have one open box, and one unopened new unit. I have called, emailed, called and called again, but Oreck has never returned my communication. So here you are America. An actual honest review of a terrible product marketed by a dishonorable corporation who shares your personal info, takes your money and disappears.
