Leading up to the event, escalations (Divine Eschatological Justice) around the world made possible in Germany the promotion of Adolf Hitler who was appointed by National Socialist Party in 1933 to the Office of Chancellor. Hitler was present in the 1936 games made memorable by Jesse Owens and many athletes. The games inspired the making of the film "Olympia." Olympia is a German documentary film written, directed and produced by Leni Riefenstahl. It documented the 1936 Summer Olympics, held in the Olympic Stadium in Berlin, Germany. The film was released in two parts: Olympia 1. Teil — Fest der Völker (Festival of Nations) and Olympia 2. Teil — Fest der Schönheit (Festival of Beauty). These were considered the very best feature films of the Olympic Games ever made. It used what was then the most advanced motion picture techniques. The film is not appreciated only because of the events which transpired in history after the Olympic Games of 1936.
