Refurbished Central Line 1992 Stock on a Test Run at Stratford with AC Traction Motors.
Central line 1992 Stocks are going under a major refurbishment which includes new lighting in carriages, CCTV cameras & Passenger Information displays added on the trains, making spaces for wheelchair users & also replacing the DC motors to AC Motors. Hopefully the refurbishment will improve these stocks and the services on the Central Line.
The few refurbished units are doing the test run on the central line as shown on the video 91001 is passing Stratford on a Test Run.
