Cristiano Ronaldo was booed by Manchester United fans at Old Trafford before, during and after their game against Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League (Brighton won the game 2-1).

Ronaldo had wanted a move away from United to a club playing in the Champions League but no club showed any desire to sign the ageing striker.
