Pam Shellner is an Executive Director with robust experience working in the hospital & health care industry. Pam is a strong business development professional who has earned her BSN focused in Nursing Science from Union College (NE). She also carries a Master’s Degree in Organizational Management from University of Phoenix.
Behavioral Emergency Response Team (BERT) exists as a proactive approach to some of the dangers within healthcare settings. The risk of violence is present across the healthcare field nationwide, and Riverside University Health System is working to create a response to potential violence that protects our staff and our patients. The team exists to provide support to situations that require psychiatric intervention, with the goal of treating the whole person, and resolving the conflict with peaceful de-escalation.
