Smile! February is National Children's Dental Health Month. That means we’re working to raise awareness about the importance of oral hygiene for our children. Our team thought that now would be the perfect time to remind the community how important it is to start children with good oral health habits early, so they can enjoy a lifetime of healthy teeth and gums. Brushing, flossing, and seeing a dentist regularly for check-ups are some of the ways to ensure they are maintaining proper oral health.
Another important way to keep your child’s teeth and jaws healthy is having them see an orthodontist by age seven. All of their adult teeth have not come in by that age but it’s the perfect time to start monitoring their growth and development for future treatment.
Your child’s oral health is the first building block to a successful smile journey!
