Hi everyone
Guess what, Fay’s back! Like Andrea, Fay and I see each other a lot and eat together so we see each other without masks a lot and she’s in my bubble. That’s why I’m not wearing a mask in this video. If you work in a salon then please wear a mask.
We’re going to start by sanitising and then removing the crystals, I’m then going to use my electric file to remove the Acrygel and Top Coat from the nail and thin the back to help with adhesion for the new acrylic. I’ll then use a tapered bit to push back and exfoliate the cuticles. To prep the natural nail, I’m using a sanding band but you can use a 240 grit file.
I’m going to prep and dehydrate the nail before applying a really thin layer of Clear Acrylic and then extend the design of each nail over the regrowth. I’m also going to rebalance the apex at the same time - you could also do the design and then cap with clear. I’m going to refine the shape of the acrylic with my e-file and a hand file.
