This is a demonstration of my Hohner Liliput travel/work accordion. The Liliput was produced between 1935 and 1940 and was designed as a miniature accordion. It was probably intended to be taken hiking, but it is said some German soldiers carried them during WW2. It is small enough to fit in my flight gear bag or a backpack.
I had it tuned and set up by Scott Bellinger at Bellinger’s Button Boxes. I decided to retain the original Bb/Eb tuning and keep the Club configuration (treble and bass). Scott used the Viennese tuning style and I’m very pleased with the sound.
This video was done in one take, so posted with blemishes and all.
This Hohner Liliput is coming to a hotel room near you. Hopefully the room right next to you!!
