(NOTE: The first guitar is tuned to standard tuning, but the Les Paul with the slide is tuned the way Duane Allman tuned his own, which is Open E Tuning: E, B, E, G#, B, E)
This is the guitar tab for my cover of One Way Out by the Allman Brothers. It is a note for note transcription of the original Live 1971 track.
I'm playing all guitars, bass, keys and vocals.
I was able to isolate the drums from the original track, so the drumming your hearing is actually Butch Trucks and Jai Johanny Johnson.
There was an issue of timing with the drums, wherein the band drops a beat or moves into 3/4 during Duane's slide solo. This is because Berry Oakley comes in one bar early after the drum break (completely understandable due to the fact that they have two drummers and they are playing so much synchopation that you lose the beat), and the band drops a beat to catch up with him.
So, if things seem funky during the slide solo, I apologize, but sometimes when bands are live they have to make things work, so maybe it will be a good challenge for you. It was for me.
