On Friday, March 22, a seismic event shook Indonesia's Java island, with a magnitude 6.5 earthquake striking off its shore, as reported by Indonesia's geophysics agency. The quake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers, following a 6 magnitude tremor that had been reported over four hours earlier. The epicenter of the earthquake was situated approximately 130 kilometers north of Tuban in East Java province.
