Indonesia have lots of choicea of Satay.
We have Sate Kambing (lamb satay), sate marangi which is from beef, pork satay and from my hometown famous with Sate Klopo. Klopo means Kelapa or coconut. the sate itself is from beef and cover with shredded coconut.
And of course this recipe is our wellknow satay which is Chicken Satay.
Peanut Sauce
150 gr peanuts
50 gr palm or brown sugar
2 tbsp kecap manis (sweet soy sauce)
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 cup water
1 tbsp tamarind (soak in hot water)
To marinate chicken
2 chicken thigh or 1 chicken breast
3 garlics
1 tsp coriander seed
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tbsp kecap manis
1 tbsp vegetable oil
*Marinate the chicken at least 30 minutes
