seasonally the saw needs to be reset to allow the system to accurately compensate for changes. For optimum performance, this also applies to significant changes in elevation or daily temperatures. There is a risk of lean seizing these saws if they are not reset before the weather turns cold or if you move to a significantly lower elevation...Air at sea level and cold air are more dense, so the carb needs to feed more fuel to the motor to maintain the same air/fuel ratio.
