A Modern Impulsive Jazz Tune with TAO (my imaginary twin) on the Bass keys, Erik Frandsen on the Drums and myself (Oliver Prehn) on the piano.
This time only Music. I need to create Music once in a while to stay sharp on performing. Teaching and performing goes hand in hand, I think. After this "music video" we'll of course return to the “lessons” and explore many new interesting aspects of improvised Music - and I really look forward to that!!!
This tune consists of mainly 3 sections:
In the A-section I try to make an ambient sound by using melodic minor modes. In the B-section I use pentatonic "hand grips" and we just "go wild". In the C-section we disrupt everything and play with an more open style and I use the Dorian scale to make a consonant pleasant sound.

THE RECORDING PROCESS
First Erik recorded a draft on the drums. Then TAO made a draft on the bass. Then Erik and I (Oliver) recorded and video taped drums & piano on top of the bass (playing together). Then TAO was videoed while he had the honor to refine the bass.
