how do outdoor sensors work ( Weather comp )good question i will explain it to you it just basically an ntc on the wall the temperature will hit stand it takes the temperature and it feeds it back to the boiler , right , so if the boiler is using a modulating control which this will be, yea , ok so the boiler looks it see right its got a target temp internally its got an external temperature and then it makes a calculation will what can we get away with least amount of gas needed to heat the house , right, the outdoor temperature will have a positive impact on the house its going to warm it up if we can get away with cutting the gas rate down by maybe 10% because outside we are getting that influence fair play that the efficiency of it there fantastic , right ,with the modulating control inside as well it makes it , you can fit it without the modulating control as well but its really good with the modulating control which this has , right , efficiency wise then , improves it massively , right ok ,i am not going to quote figures on a video but it makes a really big difference on the system , is that weather comp them , that is weather comp we call it outdoor sensor its known as weather comp in the trade or there are other ways you can call it, its our outdoor sensor and indoor sensor, so inside sensor is modulating programmable room thermostat with connectivity so its the full works, what does it connect too, what does it connect too so its all through what we call a bus interface so its our bridge net technology that we use for our programming so its all connected via that into the boiler colour coded plugs into the boiler designed so the plug can only go into the relevant hole its designed for the installer in mind , and how does the customer use it , how does the customer as far as weather comp they have no interference with the weather comp at all as far as they are concerned they have a timer on the commissioning side of things the installer will setup the boiler to whatever the heat required it needs they will range rate it and do all the work involved in making it as efficient as possible but for the end user its just a room thermostat thats got a timer in it so it takes a lot of the complicated stuff thats involved the end user is happy they have it but they have no real involvement in it , and they can just use there phone the app on the phone ,on the app on the phone they have room thermostat they can on the combi they can can control the hot water as well temperature its got the timer built in on the app as well it will also they can input there energy usage and it will also tell them what energy usage to heat the house and it will make suggestions on how to make energy consumption lower within the app as well when the customer is using the boiler it will make a note of anything that is done even if its just turning the room thermostat up and over ridding what the engineer has set its all logged which can be used online
