This video explains the Antescofo project (2007) which studies if a computer can interpret a musical instrument being played by a musician. This project was begun by Arshia Cont, a researcher, and Marco Shoppa, a composer. They aimed to compose an interactive piece for saxophone and live computer programs using a simple-action language and machine listenig. The project aimed to study if computers can respond and act according to a musician's performance.
