In an interview with CBS sixty minutes Qatar’s emir, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, says the countries behind the Gulf crisis are trying to force a change of leadership.
His country's been living under a blockade for almost five months, since four Arab states cut diplomatic and economic relations, demanding Qatar reduce its ties to Iran and Turkey and to end alleged support for "terrorism" - an allegation Qatar has repeatedly denied.
Sheikh Tamim proclaimed his willingness to work with the blockading countries to end the crisis, but said that "nothing is going to be above Qatar's sovereignty."
Al Jazeera's Mike Hanna reports from Washington.
