카타르 당국, 덴마크 기자 억지로 방송 중단시킨 뒤 사과 발표
Organizers of the 2022 Qatar Football World Cup have apologized to a Danish reporter after authorities interrupted a live broadcast from Qatar's capital Doha.
The incident took place on Tuesday evening, when a reporter from TV2 was corresponding on air with a news anchor.
Footage shows an electric cart with three men pulling up, and attempting to block the camera.
Qatari officials said the report was "mistakenly interrupted" over doubts about the crew's filming permit and tournament accreditation.
This comes as Qatar continues to deny that there are strict limits to where the media can film in the country.
Denmark's football federation is strongly opposed to Qatar's hosting of the tournament, highlighting the middle-eastern state's human rights record and treatment of migrant workers.
