Smoothies are my go to when I have no time to cook and want to have home food instead of ordering in. Fruits + cow milk isn’t a great combination, vegan milk like coconut, almond milk etc are a better choice for your gut than cow milk, if you’re mixing fruits. Fruits are always best had alone, so you could also just grab a fruit if you don’t have time to make food. I make smoothies since they keep me full until my next meal, especially with those added nuts!
So, here you go, no added sugar smoothie recipes :
🍹Banana Smoothie🍹
⭐️ 2-3 bananas
⭐️ 3-4 dates
⭐️ Peanut butter - 2 spoons (or more 😉)
⭐️ Poppy seeds - 1tsp
⭐️ Milk of choice
⭐️ 1tsp cacao optional (for chocolate smoothie)
🍹Chikoo Smoothie🍹
⭐️ 2-3 chikoos
⭐️ 3-4 dates
⭐️ Peanut roasted or soaked
⭐️ Milk of choice
🍹Avocado Smoothie🍹
⭐️ 1 Avacado
⭐️ Honey to taste
⭐️ Flax seeds, black and white sesame seeds
⭐️ Milk of choice
⭐️ Top up with basil/sabja seeds after blending
