STORYLINE:
Santa Claus and Mother Christmas went underwater at Rio's National Aquarium, diving into a shark tank bringing holiday cheers and joy the visiting children.
Children were filled with excitement as they saw Santa Claus in his traditional red suit swimming with sharks and other fish just days before Christmas.
“To see them looking at us dressed as Santa Claus and Mother Christmas, their expression of magic and enchantment is priceless, fills our hearts with happiness," said Caroline Land Dias, who works at the AquaRio and is part of the Christmassy divers crew.
It's become an annual ritual that brings in local residents and visitors enjoying the holiday spirit to the city.
