We met Soraya at one of our workshops at Flushing YMCA's New Americans Initiative program in March. We had a long conversation with her about her life, and we prepared an arrangement of one of her favorite songs: "Zan Astam." We are so lucky to have met Soraya, and we thank her for allowing us to share her incredible story.
