After the first half of the season and four of eight races, World Champion Francesco Friedrich, of Germany, who won the first three World Cup races of the season, continues to lead the overall standings in the BMW IBSF World Cup 2015/2016 with 835 points after placing eighth in Lake Placid. Yunjong Won is overall second with 776 points, and Nico Walther third with 770 points.
