In the fall of 2019 contractors used the power of water to help rehab Basin 1 at our historic Florence Water Plant. This video takes you behind the scenes to see the power of Hydro demolition. Crews use a robot to shoot high-pressure jets of water to remove the old layer of concrete. The rough exterior left behind provides an excellent surface for the new concrete to be applied.
