Plenty of people will cite a Type-R as their favourite. The Integra is a JDM legend and the Civic has been the weapon of choice for car fans for two decades. But lately Honda have faltered. The FN2 was not well received, then five years went by without a Type-R in the range at all.

The FK2 was then released, the first TypeR product to be turbocharged, but it was not well loved. Now Honda are hoping for third time lucky with the FK8. The press seem to love it, but is that love deserved?
