Setting proper limits for your losmandy mount helps you avoid pier crashes (when your telescope hits your tripod or pier). Proper Limits also helps with meridian flips (discussed in a later video).
It's best to do this with your hand controller and standing at your mount so you can visually inspect and confirm the best limits on both sides of pier.
You must start with the telescope in counterweight down position (as shown) and then cold start your Gemini.
Remember Limits are only in RA: there are no DEC limits
