Worth every penny!
I rewired a battery charger as a dock to draw from the battery instead. I bought this voltage buck to step the 18v down to 12v. I use this when off grid camping in my homemade truck camper. I run lights and charge phones for days without drawing from my truck battery or running a generator.
The only thing I wish I could do is to be able to dim or kill the display. It's a really bright night light. Perhaps I'll make a tinted lens to go in front of it.
