A man has been shot dead, and three others injured in Nyanga, on the Cape Flats, amid the ongoing taxi shutdown in the Western Cape.
Four more buses have also been torched on the N2 highway, bringing the total to eight.
Police, law enforcement and traffic services have been deployed to the violence hotspots.
