As I'm traveling the world, my goal is to meet others with type 1 diabetes in every country I visit. Tonka's mom found me on Facebook and reached out to me. We made plans to meet and it worked out! After chatting, we discovered we share all the same struggles....managing all the needed supplies, diets, highs and lows....but it's so comforting to meet and be reminded, we are not alone.
