Saying goodbye to the Mirage! After 34 (and a half) years they are closing its doors and @HardRock international, who has owned the Mirage since 2022, will be redoing the entire property. I'm personally unsure if they will just renovate or if they will tear down and start from scratch. I do know they are planning on making a guitar shaped hotel. So I'm assuming they are knocking it all down. It was a sad farewell. My family came here growing up and when @CirqueduSoleil LOVE opened I took my dad to see it. And it's such a special memory. I wish I would have gone to see it one last time. That was a rough goodbye as well. I never realized how much @TheBeatles music reminds me of my dad and it stirs up all my emotions! 😭😭 I'm thankful I got to see it. I have stayed at rhw Mirage since i was young and we don't party or drink so we don't tendro do go to Vegas. And when we do it's to eat or just look at the hotels and lights while driving. All that to say we are unsure of the state of the hotel 🤣🤪 but aside from nostalia, I am sure thay the hotel is needed some work and a refresh. It is just sad to see a legend go...
