Two strategies for beating Conjunctivius and getting the Flawless Victory trophy easily.

The main strategy is to run up the walls to avoid the tentacles, so you will need the Spider Ruin. For both builds, I recommend using the ice bow and a 2nd ranged weapon (my preference is pyrotechnics). After the tentacle phase, immediately jump onto the closest middle platform, freeze the boss, and unload with your DPS weapon.

Use the mutations Emergency Triage, so you can use the shield from Triage to avoid the bullet hell attack, and Tainted Flask, so you can use Triage with full health. I prefer Efficiency or Ammunition for the 3rd mutation.

Technique 1: Explosive Decoy
During the main boss phases, stay on one of the middle platforms close to the wall while doing damage. Right before the tentacle phase starts, jump onto the wall. From there, stay off the ground and use the Explosive Decoy to damage the tentacles. (If you get on the wall using this method, turrets are useless. No matter how low you get on the wall, the turrets won't register you are close enough and the tentacles won't come out of the ground to attack them without the decoy also on the ground. Barnacles do register as close enough though, and are also a good weapon for the main boss phases.)

Technique 2: Extra Jump Amulet with any Turret or Explosive Decoy
If you are lucky enough to get an amulet with even a single extra jump, you are pretty much guaranteed to avoid taking any damage from the tentacles (which is the hardest part of getting Flawless Victory). With an extra jump, you can jump run up the wall from the ground and don't have to time jumping onto the wall as the tentacle phase starts. Additionally, getting onto the wall this way allows the turrets to both lure the tentacles out of the ground and register as close enough to function (you can get almost to the top corner of the room).
