A cold front is moving into southwest Idaho this Thursday morning, spreading light rain showers throughout the area. Snow levels initially have been above 6000 feet but will lower to 4500-5000 feet behind the cold front. Snow has been falling overnight in McCall but will occasionally mix with rain today with only light accumulations, but higher elevations will see a few inches of snow through tonight.

For the Treasure Valley, rain showers increasing this morning and into the afternoon, with more unstable conditions by afternoon and evening for a chance of thunderstorms. Rainfall amounts through tonight will be generally around a tenth of an inch or less, but could be heavier with thunderstorms. Temperatures in the 50's overnight will lower to the 40's for awhile this morning, then back to the low to mid 50's through this afternoon.

The Magic Valley will see showers by late morning into the afternoon with a slight chance of thunderstorms. While the showers end tonight from the west, rain will continue in the Magic Valley area through the night as low pressure tracks through northern Utah, with a rain/snow mix farther east.

Friday will be dry for the Treasure Valley but windy, with westerly winds 20-35 mph, diminishing Friday evening. The weekend looks good with sunshine and warming to the low to mid 60's, and to the low 70's Monday and Tuesday. More showers are likely by Wednesday.
