Texas Children's new robot named MEDi is helping patients overcome their anxiety and perception of pain during medical procedures. The robot engages patients in child-friendly games like Simon Says and can sing songs, dance, tell stories and perform other activities to make patients feel comfortable. Since MEDi’s arrival at Texas Children’s, the robot has already brought comfort and joy to patients and their families.
