The story of God’s plan of salvation has been told through the words and actions of countless great men and women of God whose names are held up as role models — leaders like Moses, Paul and Peter. But what about Lydia, Simeon or Naaman? Hebrews 11 reminds us there are countless stories of the men and women who persevered for their faith and spread the Gospel without becoming famous and of whom we may not be aware. Today we’ll look at some of these “hidden figures” of the Bible: three mighty warriors who touched King David’s heart with an act of uncommon bravery that is still relevant in our time.
