Still trying out my new DIYcnc
This shows first attepmt of trochiodal milling on the new machine... Still have to further explore the limits of the cnc. This is quite conservative on a 800 watt hf spindle..but i only have one of these mill- bits at hand and didn´t feel like breaking it first try.
Vid deliberately shows milling action at the "open" corner, cause the chips fill up the trench faster than i could grab the camera and focus ...
Feed is 850 mm/min, cutting depth is full 6mm, bit is a single flute 3,17mm (1/8) aluminium
