This summer, we travelled to K’wy’iy’e Spring Salmon Studio to hear from q̓ʷɑti̓cɑ / #PhyllisAtkins about her exhibition “k̓ʷam̓k̓ʷəm̓ tə šxʷhəliʔ / Divine Connection.”
Listen to Atkins as she shares her story, experiences, and journey as an artist. We hope that by watching and listening to this video, you witness Atkins’s strength, humour, kindness, and courage.
Many talented people made this video possible, including the thoughtful team of Dallas Yellowfly and Alysha Collie at 3 Crows Productions who demonstrated such care and attention throughout the whole interview and filming process, as well as Jamil Mawani at Third Eye Pro for filming Atkins’s exhibition and Chad Galloway at Trail Films Inc. for editing.
With gratitude and thanks.
