Elgar's "Enigma Variations" has become one of the most popular works of English music to be played internationally. It was performed by the NHK Symphony Orchestra under Tadaaki Otaka in 2022 and the complete performance can be seen via the link down below. However, the most celebrated of the variations is entitled 'Nimrod' and is often played at solemn or state occasions. It is extracted here with all due acknowledgements.
