""Asha Jaoar Majhe" (2014) is an Indian Bengali language film made by Aditya Vikram Sengupta and produced by For Films. The film is about the recession that affected India as well as the world a couple of years back, including a lower middle class married couple who work hard day-night to sustain their lives. This nameless couple does not get a chance to meet each other except in the morning when the husband enters home and the wife leaves for work. Aesthetically slow-paced Asha Jaoar Majhe (2014) has not only portrayed the life of the couple but also portrayed the space, time, and belonging in which they live.
