A demonstration due to take place outside the Jack The Ripper museum was cancelled at the last minute yesterday due to organiser's fears of large-scale arrests. The protest was organised by the group Class War. A spokesperson from the far-left activist group told London Live:
"A group of local people did turn up today for the protest to show their disgust and opposition to the Museum. We haven't given up our fight against this glorification of sexual violence to women and we will be back and continue to oppose this sick tourist attraction by any means necessary until it closes."
However, the museum's founder, Mark Palmer-Edgcumbe, told London Live he's determined to keep the doors of the controversial museum open.
