In this video I show you an issue I had with too much mulch being built up around my birch tree as well as the mulch settling up against the trunk and root flare area of the tree. I go through a few different steps to show you how to uncover the root flare area and then apply a thin layer of mulch around the tree as well as how to edge around the tree to leave a nice clean look.
