garlic kimchi fried rice— 10/10 late-night snack or for any time of day. 🤌my go-to dish to whip up after a night out or when having people over because I know I’ll always have the ingredients on hand!
I still very much regret when my giant garlic kimchi fried rice fell down the stairs on our cabin trip. 🥲 at least half made it out ok— it was my best batch yet! 😩

🍚: you’ll need:
• 2 cups leftover rice
• 1/2 head sliced garlic (or a full head if you love garlic like us 🧄)
• 1 cup kimchi
• 2 tbsp kimchi juice
• 3 slices of bacon; spam or lap cheong are also hella good
• 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
• few dashes of fish sauce
• five spice
• chili flakes
• garlic powder
• fried egg
• scallions
to top:
• chili oil
• furikake
• fried shallots
you can also add scrambled fluffy eggs mixed in as well, it’s also a great way to repurpose leftovers!
