After spending a good amount of time in the field with my Photon, I have made the adjustments and modifications shown here. The grip tape on my 20ir came from an old set of handgun wraps. I built the tapeswitch myself after buying the parts from China and using the original 20ir tailcap. It's completely reversible, and has constant on and also momentary on features. The cat tail is a lifesaver, as the Photon's adjustment ring is very stiff. It came from Amazon, and is from Breakaway Tackle Co. I started with a one-piece QD mount, but did not like how it constrained my mounting options, and didn't like how tall it was. These are Warne 216LM Extra-High rings. They were the lowest reasonably-priced QD rings I could find. Warne makes very solid gear.
