PASSENGERS on the London Tube were left stranded for hours, as all trains stopped between London Paddington and Reading, on Thursday, December 7, due to electrical wire damage.
Transport of London reported the cancellation of services due to damage to overhead wires.
In a video posted on X, passenger @ElineHQ shows a packed train on the Elizabeth line stopped on the tracks.
In the footage, she says they had been waiting for three hours, and that nothing had been communicated to the passengers since the emergency team arrived at the scene.
“There’s been a train standing there for about an hour, ready to take us, but it’s been too long and everyone has gone rogue and is now walking on the train tracks,” she says in the video.
