The Universal Declaration of Human Rights provides power of ideas to initiate change in the world. The UDHR outlines the opportunities for a new direction rooted in inherent dignity and inalienable rights for dynamic sustainable development and social democracy. Article 26 is the core of Economic, Social and Cultural Rights in the UDHR. The UDHR calls for a coalition of conscience centered around trust and transformation while honoring values, voice and vision. On the 75th anniversary, it's important to reflect on the role of human rights in our daily lives and world affairs. Article 26 focuses on education to be directed to the full development of the human personality and to the strengthening of respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms. Education promotes understanding, tolerance and friendship among all nations, racial or religious groups, and shall further the activities of the United Nations for the maintenance of peace.
