Throughout the 2008-2009 school year, jazz saxophone legend, Phil Woods, and the DePaul Jazz Ensemble recorded the album, "Solitude" which features ten of Phil's original compositions. In addition to spending time in the studio and performing with the band, Phil also was interviewed by Bob Lark and spent time just hanging out with DePaul students. This DVD documents his time with the band and offers a glimpse into his life through his stories and through his music.
