Plow mount is on! In this DIY video Ezra and I (Caleb) install a boss plow mount (smart hitch 2) on our 2014 Ford F-250 with the 6.2L gas engine. Why pay someone to do something that we can do ourselves right, save a bit of money. So if your doing one of these installs on a Ford super duty 2008 and up year models hopefully this will help you out a bit, or if you are just interested in how these mounts are installed.
This can be done at home easily
Tools needed/we used:
Metric & Standard socket set, ratchet/breaker bar
Metric and standard wrench set
Impact gun (optional)
Lining bars
Hydraulic porta power (optional)
Drill, drill bits
hole saw to run harness into the cab
Follow the instructions in the kit
