Every year, the All-Ireland Pollinator Plan runs a Council Conference to help local authorities share knowledge and their experiences of managing public land for pollinators.
The 2024 Council Conference took place at the Civic Theatre, Tallaght, on Thursday 13th June in collaboration with South Dublin County Council.
In response to common work strands and challenges faced by local authorities, the focus of the 2024 conference was on meadow management and pesticide alternatives.
This talk by Eimear Fox of Transport Infrastructure Ireland explores ways pesticides can be avoided through landscape and streetscape design.
