Patient with a large MCA aneurysm, with the division arising from the sac. We used an intra-aneurysmal stent “Newstent” to create a neck and coiled the sac. It was easy to cross through the stent struts and reposition the microcatheter. The advantage was to achieve good occlusion without the need for long-term anti-platelet therapy. The evolution of bifurcation devices is making these procedures shorter and safer!
